Baseball
High school action begins Thursday, with Chief Sealth hosting a jamboree at 3 p.m. at the Southwest Athletic Complex.
Ballard hosts a jamboree at 12:45 p.m. Saturday and West Seattle will take part in a jamboree at Liberty that day.
Fastpitch softball
Mount Rainier visits Federal Way for a 4 p.m. game Friday.
Boys soccer
Ballard is putting on a boys soccer jamboree at 4 p.m. Thursday and Highline is hosting its public schools jamboree at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Evergreen entertains Sunnyside at 11 a.m. Saturday and Kennedy Catholic hosts Seattle Prep at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Track and field
Highline hosts its public schools track and field jamboree at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Highline Memorial.
Pros
Mariners
Seattle is still in Arizona for spring training, hosting the Colorado Rockies at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday in Peoria.
The Mariners will be there again for action at the same time Wednesday and Thursday against the Oakland A’s and San Francisco Giants, respectively.
Seattle turns around to visit the Giants at 12:05 p.m. Friday before dropping in on the Cincinnati Reds at 5:05 p.m. Saturday and hosting the Reds at 1:10 p.m. Sunday.
The Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday games will be carried on ROOT Sports cable television.
Sounders
Seattle hosts Guadalajara for a 7 p.m. CONCACAF men’s professional soccer match Wednesday at CenturyLink Field.
Thunderbirds
Seattle will be at home at the Showare Center in Kent facing the Tri-City Americans at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, the Spokane Chiefs at 7:35 p.m. Friday and the Everett Silvertips at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.

Husky baseball
The University of Washington hosts Seattle University at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday before entertaining Illinois State at 6:05 p.m. Friday, 2:05 p.m. Saturday, 1:05 p.m. Sunday and 6:05 p.m. Monday.
Cougar baseball
Washington State University’s team is at home in Pullman playing Saint Mary’s at 4 p.m. Thursday, 4 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
Husky fastpitch softball
Washington’s red hot softball team is in Las Vegas for the Rebel Classic this weekend, playing New Mexico State at 1:30 p.m. Friday and UNLV at 6 p.m. Friday.
The Huskies take on DePaul at 9 a.m. Saturday, New Mexico State at 11:15 a.m. Saturday and Portland State at 9 a.m. Sunday.
The UW team includes Kennedy Catholic graduate Maggie Gallagher, who is now in her sophomore season.
Husky track and field
Washington is in College Station, Texas for the NCAA Indoor Championships this Friday and Saturday.
Husky men’s basketball
Washington is set to play Oregon State in a 6 p.m. Pac-12 tournament game Wednesday, with the winner going on to meet USC at 6 p.m. Thursday.
All of the action is on the Pac-12 network.
Cougar men’s basketball
Washington State University also enters the Pac-12 tournament Wednesday, playing Oregon in an 8:30 p.m. game. The winner plays again at the same time Thursday.
The Pac-12 network will carry the first game and FS1 the second.
Redhawk men’s basketball
Seattle University plays UTRGV in a Western Athletic Conference tournament game Thursday.
Redhawk women’s basketball
The Redhawks open Western Athletic Conference tournament play against UMKC this Wednesday.
Falcon women’s basketball
Mount Rainier graduate Jordan McPhee and the Seattle Pacific University team will go on to playoff action at a time to be determined.
