Loop The ‘Lupe! is a 5K obstacle course fun run taking place at Walt Hundley Playfield in West Seattle on June 2.
Loop The ‘Lupe! is one of the only 5K obstacle courses you’ll find within Seattle. Produced by Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, this fun-filled 5K features five laps of “ninja warrior” obstacles on a course the whole family can complete including mud-crawling, wall climbing, ropes, water and more!
This event is always more fun with friends, so start a team and show up in your craziest running outfits!
LOOP THE ‘LUPE! EVENT OPTIONS INCLUDE:
5K Obstacle Course – Test your skills on our obstacle course featuring mud, walls, water and more
5K Family Fun Run/Walk – Aren’t quite ready to take on our obstacle course? Skip the obstacles and turn it into a family-friendly 5K Run/Walk
Senior Saunter (Ages 65+) – Want to take part in the fun but not ready for a full 5k? Try the quarter-mile Senior Saunter loop for our older (and wiser) participants! Begins at 1 p.m. Prizes for seniors (over 65) who complete the most laps in 20 minutes!
Youth Dash – For our mini ninja warriors…. We offer a Loop The ‘Lupe Youth Dash! Kids 8 years of age and under are invited to test their skills on our 1K kids’ course which will feature almost all of the same obstacles as the adults! Parents are encouraged to join their kids to help them conquer the ‘Lupe!

All participants that take part in any of the Loop The ‘Lupe! events will receive:
- 2018 Loop The ‘Lupe! Event Shirt & gift bag
- Timing Chip & Customized Participant Bib
- A really fun afternoon including mud, water & walls!

11:00AM – Loop The ‘Lupe! Obstacle Course Challenge
11:45AM – 5K Family Fun Run/Walk
12:15PM – Senior Saunter
1:00PM – Youth Dash
ALL DAY – Loop The ‘Lupe’! after party featuring live music with Northwest party legends BottleRockit, plus food & drinks for purchase and a beer garden provided by The Beer Junction! Enjoy yourself responsibly!
TEAM REGISTRATION
All groups of 2 or more are encouraged to register as a team and invite friends & family to participate in one of the day’s events. Prizes will be awarded for largest fundraisers, biggest team and craziest costumes!

AWARDS & PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded for top overall finishers in each division (male & female) for overall finish times, fastest laps and costume contests. Awards for largest fundraisers, largest fundraising teams (in donation), largest team (in size), and craziest costumes will be awards as well!
