Norwegian Bliss comes to Seattle; Massive cruise ship has more than 5000 people on board
The newest Norwegian Cruise Lines ship the Norwegian Bliss is now docked in Seattle at Pier 66 and will begin offering service to Alaska and later in the year to the Caribbean. The ship was greeted by the Seattle Fire Department fireboat.

Norwegian Cruise Lines Norwegian Bliss entered Elliott Bay around 5:15am on Wednesday docking at Pier 66. The ship is among the largest in the world at 1,082 feet long and width (or beam) of 136.2 feet.
It carries 2100 crew members and nearly 4000 passengers. It has has 20 decks, and 2,038 staterooms. The ship will be cruising Alaska and The Caribbean seasonally beginning summer 2018.
The ship features the largest race track (for go karts) at sea, a laser tag area, a water park, a boardwalk, and of course 19 restaurants, bars and lounges (including a Starbucks), six showroom style clubs featuring the Jersey Boys, the Cavern Club (live music), a 1950's Cuban club called Havana, a comedy club called Social and even a prohibition era Speakeasy musical show. The ship also offers theme parties on board from Nashville Nights to costume parties, to urban street parties.
By sailing to Seattle her new home port The Norwegian Bliss became the largest passenger ship to transit the Panama Canal since the completion of the canal’s expansion project in 2016.
