The expansion of the Morgan Junction Park needs public input and Seattle Parks and Recreation is using the occasion of the Morgan Junction Festival June 16 to get your thoughts. They will show park design features and record input.
Seattle Parks and Recreation purchased this .28-acre in 2014 to provide the community access to open space within this high-density urban area. The Seattle Park District funds the development of this parcel into a park addition. Seattle Parks and Recreation will work with the community to develop the design for the park.
Planning for this project is just beginning. The first public meeting will be an Open House on Saturday, June 16 at the Morgan Junction Festival, stop by their booth to provide ideas for the development of the lot right next to Morgan Junction Park.
