A power outage hit West Seattle all across the peninsula shortly after 2:30pm with some getting the power back on quickly, as soon as four minutes after it suddenly went out. Others waited up to half an hour

The Seattle City Light System Status map showed a large number of individual outages, not the usual swaths of outages usually displayed during a power outage event. 64 active events were listed with 78 customers though reports from the Junction, Fauntlee Hills, Admiral and elsewhere indicated that the power did indeed drop all over the area.
