Providence Mount St. Vincent and Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish have decided to postpone their “Letting it Go, Letting it Grow” event from Feb. 16 to Saturday March 9, 2019, because of ongoing weather concerns.
The workshop is designed to help people clarify their values, get organized, clean and downsize. Speakers, including Donna Oiland of Radiant Joy Ministries and Rebecca Crichton of NW Center for Creative Aging, will help participants create vision and space for their whole lives. The community is now invited to attend from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on March 9 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Walmesley Hall, 7000 35th Ave., SW, Seattle.
“We feel strongly that since local neighborhoods are still slushy, icy and snowy, that we shouldn’t put any attendees at risk,” said Molly Swain, executive director of the Providence Mount St. Vincent Foundation and director of development and public relations. “We look forward to welcoming the community in March, when the snow and ice will hopefully be gone.”
