Come to celebrate the 14th annual Morgan Junction Community Festival produced by the Morgan Community Association (MoCA) on June 22nd, starting at 10:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm. The festival takes place in and around Morgan Junction Park on California Avenue SW. This year’s festival will feature live music, six food vendors, young people’s entertainment and activities, and over 30 commercial vendor and community informational booths (located in the parking lot behind Zeeks Pizza and on Eddy Street). Featured for this year’s festival: young peoples’ activities from 10 am to 4 pm.
New for this year, is an Art Zone specifically created for Tweens led by middle school art teacher, Dani Meyers, made possible by a SPARKS Department of Neighborhoods grant.
The Bubbleman, all time children’s favorite, will be performing from 10:45 to 11:30 in the park. The arts and craft zone for younger children starts at 10:00 and continues until 4:00. Face painters, a magician, and a balloon twister artist will be on hand throughout the day.

10:00 to 4:00 - Live Music in the Park
10:15 - Endolyne Children’s Choir, a favorite returning for their fourth year
11:45 - Soyaya, world beat music
1:15 - Servants of the Rich, Celtic music
2:30 - Gary Benson, local folkrock favorite
- 11:15 to 3:00 - First Responders - Seattle Police personnel will be on hand with their vehicles starting at 11:15 am. The Seattle Mounted Patrol, always big hit, will be at the festival again. The Seattle Fire Department engine and crew will be the curb in front of the park from noon to 3 pm.
- 12:45 to 1:15 - Bark of Morgan, pooch parade and contest with prizes. (can you link to earlier detailed information submitted on May 27)
- 1:15 to 2:30 - Spatter of Morgan returns for a third year! Everyone who participated last year shooting water toys filled with paint at a large canvas had a blast.

Meet North of the Park by SW Eddy
The Bark kicks off with the Pooch Parade through the Festival Grounds followed by Canine Contests.
12:45 pm - Pooch Parade:
Leashed dogs and their human should line up by 12:40 pm north of Morgan Junction Park in SW Eddy Street. Costumes are encouraged. The parade will go through the Festival Grounds back to Eddy Street.
1:00 pm - Canine Contests:
Contests take place north of Eddy Street after the Parade. Categories are:
Cutest Puppy
Loudest Bark
Smallest and Largest Dog
Best Trick
Best Costume
Three winners will be awarded for each contest. Contest winners are based on the audience applause-o-meter as certified by the Master of Ceremony.
