A large response to what proved to be only a small fire happened Thursday, Dec. 26 in the 8300 block of Fauntleroy Way SW just after 3pm.
Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the home at 8312 Fauntleroy Way SW and crews from Ladder 11 put firefighters on the roof with a ladder. The occupants got out of the home as the firefighters dealt with the small fire inside.
It was quickly extinguished with no injuries. No damage was reported.
