Far Away Entertainment who manage the Admiral Theater in West Seattle has issued a notice to customers that they are remaining open during the coronavirus outbreak.
Their notice reads:
Greetings!
This has been an upsetting, painful and unsure time. We have been closely following the outbreak of 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the United States and in Washington State. Our hearts go out to the families who have been affected.
We are dedicated to helping protect the health and safety of our customers, volunteers, and staff, and community as a whole. We are following instructions from the WA DOH and CDC very closely and will follow the guidance of all federal, state, and local authorities in responding to these events.
If you're able to visit our movie theaters, we thank you!
At this time, all screenings and events will happen as scheduled. We have issued hygiene reminders and instructions to all staff and volunteers and are taking extra measures to help contain the spread of possible infection, including frequent cleanings of restrooms, theater surfaces and door handles, and implementation of strict hand washing procedures.
Please refer to the following links for updated information and guidance on responding to the COVID-19 outbreak: The Washington State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Any changes to our response to the situation or our schedule will be communicated via email, website, and social media. Until then, the show must go on.
Sincerely,
The Team at Far Away Entertainment
