A group of West Seattle restaurant owners, led by Peel & Press owner Dan Austin will gather next Monday March 30 his Morgan Junction pizza and pasta house to create 100 meals for as he puts it, "industry friends who lost their jobs, medical personnel working overtime who don't have time to cook after a long shift and seniors in need."
Participating are Paul Ritums and JP Vidicans from The Westy Sports and Spirits, Rita Dixson from The Bridge, Dave Montoure from West 5, Shawn Padilla from Mission Cantina and Todd Carden from Elliott Bay Brewing.
The meal availability will be announced shortly after they are completed.
Austin said, "It's easy to give when times are good but when times are bad is when it is needed most!!!.
If you'd like to help, you can order a meal from Peel & Press, (always a good idea) by calling 206-937-1457 and asking them to add a bit more as a contribution to their effort.
Hi guys...
I'm a local chef /restaurateur here is West Seattle.
If you need an extra knife /set of skilled hands, let me know... I'd be happy to come down and volunteer my time to the cause.
Props to you all for doing this and taking care of our own! ???
