Westside Seattle news partner Q13 Fox News is reporting that the body parts, wrapped in plastic and put in suit cases that washed up near Luna Park have been identified as a 27-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman.
Their bodies were found last week. A viral TikTok video that has not been confirmed appeared to show several young people who had apparently acted on a tip opening the bags and then calling 911.
Police said although it's an active homicide investigation, they don't believe the case is linked to any open investigations in the Puget Sound region.
