The Seattle Department of Transportation for the last few months has been conducting virtual meetings online with the West Seattle Bridge Community Task Force but the WebEx platform they had employed was hard for some people to manage and did not allow a broad swath of people to see and hear what was discussed. That's now going to change.
According to SDOT "If the technology works well, then this will hopefully be an easier way for the public to view the meetings going forward.
We have also added the meeting links and agendas to the “What’s Happening Now” box on Reconnect West Seattle Community Outreach web page. So going forward, it will be easier for people to find the latest information about upcoming meetings."
Community Task Force Meeting Sept. 23
The West Seattle High-Rise Bridge Community Task Force is holding its next virtual meeting Wednesday, September 23, at 12 noon. All Community Task Force meetings are now streamed live on YouTube and we invite you to watch. Meetings are biweekly on Wednesdays at 12 noon.
This week's meeting will include an update on the High-Rise Bridge stabilization progress, an overview of upcoming changes on West Marginal Way, and an update on the cost-benefit analysis for the repair or replace decision for the High-Rise Bridge. The Task Force members will also break into two smaller groups to discuss the cost-benefit analysis.
