Rowe signs with Sounders

Federal Way's Kellen Rowe has reportedly signed on to play soccer for the Seattle Sounders.

Rowe is a 29 year old defensive midfielder who comes to Seattle from the New England Revolution as a free agent.

Giomi gets in playing time

West Seattle High School graduate Lydia Giomi saw seven minutes of action for the University of Oregon women's basketball team in a 57-41 loss at Arizona Thursday and was held off the scoreboard.

Sunday's game at Arizona State University was postponed by COVID issues.

Oregon hosts Washington State University at 5 p.m. Friday and the University of Washington at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Pryor sits in losses in LA

West Seattle graduate Nate Pryor did not play for the University of Washington men's basketball team in a 95-68 loss at USC on Thursday or in an 81-76 loss at UCLA on Saturday.

Pryor is a 6-foot, 4-inch backup point guard for the Huskies who had two early season starts.
