The Southwest Seattle Historical Society is planning to reopen the Log House Museum later this month. The museum has been closed to the public since March 2020.
The museum is holding a special member weekend from Friday, May 14 to Sunday, May 16. The Historical Society will be reopening the museum to dedicated members to experience the in-person exhibits such as The Alki Suffrage Club and War on the Homefront, prior to the reopening of the museum to the general public later this month. Of course, the museum experience will be much different than it was prior to March 2020.
