After a year off due to the pandemic, West Seattle's iconic Colman Pool will reopen to the public on June 19.

The Seattle Parks Department website spells it out.

"Colman Pool will open June 19th through September 6th for lap and recreational swimming at reduced capacity. Swim sessions will be one hour long, with a 30-minute break between sessions to facilitate cleaning. Sessions will be available by drop-in admission, first come, first served. If a session is sold out, guests may purchase tickets for a later session on the same day. Please maintain 6 feet of distance between your family and others while waiting in line.

Admission prices per session are $6.25 for adults, $4.25 for youth, seniors, and special populations.  

Sessions begin at noon, 1:30pm, 3:00pm, 4:30pm and 6:00pm.  

Please do not come to the pool if you have COVID symptoms, have recently tested positive or have recently been exposed.  

All youth under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Masks must be worn when not swimming. Seating on deck will be limited and the slide will remain closed. Swimming lessons will not be offered this year. Party rentals are sold out for the season.

We encourage everyone who plans to swim regularly to update their Seattle Parks account and purchase a 10-swim pass online prior to the start of the season. This will simplify your ticket purchase and save you money! If you have ever purchased a swim pass, signed up for lessons or rented the pool, you already have an account. You can log-in with your email here. If you don't have a password, enter your email and click "forgot password."
