It may not make headlines, or be breaking news, but for lots of kids across the nation and here in West Seattle making and selling lemonade is way to demonstrate initiative, and a willingness to work to make some money.
We noticed via Facebook that a young man named Owen is just such an entrepreneur and “Owen’s Lemonade Stand” at the corner of Beach and Charlestown. is open today, Sunday, July 25th. 2:00-4:00.
Reviews from his Saturday run are pretty good so if you get a chance, want some refreshing lemonade and want to help out an industrious young man, stop by.

Thank you to everyone in the community who supported my son and his first Lemonade Stand. He had so much fun. It was really sweet to see so many people stop to visit with him and make his little business a success. We truly live in such a great neighborhood.
