Practices for all fall high school sports have now begun, with athletes gearing up to open competitions in September.

Mariners
Seattle has Wednesday off after getting back from an eight-game road trip.
The Mariners now open a seven-game homestand at T-Mobile Park, playing the Kansas City Royals at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 1:10 p.m. Sunday.
The Houston Astros fly in for 7:10 p.m. games Monday and Tuesday and for a 1:10 p.m. contest Wednesday.
Seattle games are carried on the ROOT Sports Northwest cable television network.
Sounders
Seattle hosts the Portland Timbers for a 7:30 p.m. Sunday match at Lumen Field that can be seen on ESPN.
Seahawks
Seattle wraps up its preseason slate Saturday, hosting the Los Angeles Chargers for a 7 p.m. game at Lumen Field.
Channel 13 and the NFL network will both show the action live.
Storm
Seattle entertains Chicago for a 7 p.m. Friday game and for a 3 p.m. battle Sunday.
Both games take place at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett.
Friday's action can be seen on JOEtv and NBA TV while Sunday's will be carried on Channel 13.
OL Reign
Portland comes to Lumen Field for a 4 p.m. Sunday women's soccer match on Paramount+.
Rainiers
Tacoma entertains Salt Lake City at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, at 1:35 p.m. Sunday and at 7:05 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Cheney Stadium hosts all of the action.
AquaSox
Everett hosts Spokane at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday ahead of a 5:05 p.m. Friday twin bill.
The two teams tangle again at 7:05 p.m. Saturday and 4:05 p.m. Sunday.
Vancouver invades at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
Emerald Downs
The Auburn horse racing oval is open for action at 6 p.m. Thursday, 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
