4A state meet
Kennedy Catholic senior Chris Louis was crowned king of the 100-yard breaststroke at the King County Aquatic Center Saturday, taking the Class 4A title in an All-American Consideration time of 56.04 seconds.
Louis also placed ninth in the 50 freestyle in 21.97.
Mount Rainier senior Leo Benevedes also enjoyed a solid meet, taking third in the 500 free with a 4:43.31 effort and sixth in the 200 Individual Medley in 1:56.41.
Ben Jackson, a junior from Kennedy Catholic, snagged seventh in the 200 free in 1:49.68 and finished 15th in the 100 free in 49.81.
Patrick Crosby Jr., a senior from Mount Rainier, placed 10th in the 100 breast in 1:00.42.
Kennedy Catholic came in 13th in the 200 free relay in 1:33.35 with Mount Rainier 14th in 1:33.82.
The Rams were 12th in the 200 medley relay in 1:41.19 with Kennedy Catholic 14th in 1:43.01.
Mount Rainier was 13th in the 400 free relay in 3:24.03.
