West Seattle reached the end of the road at the state age 11 Little League All-Star baseball tournament, taking a 12-6 loss to District 3 at the Federal Way National complex Wednesday.
The District 7 champion Westsiders opened Sunday morning with a 7-2 loss to the District 8 team, but bounced back to beat District 13 Monday, 21-3.
West Seattle edged District 12 by a 6-5 score Tuesday to stay alive for Wednesday's meeting with District 3.
Majors
West Seattle also posted a 2-2 record at the Majors age 10-12 All-Star Little League baseball tournament held in Lynnwood.
The Westside team got out of the gate quickly last Saturday by beating Bainbridge, 8-2.
Greater Richland dealt the team its first defeat of the summer on Sunday.
West Seattle rebounded for a victory over West Plains on Monday before being eliminated Tuesday by Issaquah.
