Football tryouts get underway Wednesday across the state of Washington to be followed by all other fall sports next Monday.

Mariners
Seattle plays a 1:07 p.m. game at the home of the Los Angeles Angels this Wednesday before going to Oakland to play the A's at 6:40 p.m. Friday, 4:15 p.m. Saturday and 1:07 p.m. Sunday.
The Mariners come home to take on the Washington Nationals at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday at T-Mobile Park.
Seattle games can be seen on ROOT Sports Northwest cable television, although Wednesday's will be on YouTube.
Seahawks
Seattle will be at home at Lumen Field battling the Chicago Bears in a 5 p.m. Thursday preseason game on Channel 13 and ESPN.
Sounders
The team that trains in Tukwila visits the Los Angeles Galaxy for a 7 p.m. Friday Major League Soccer match to be carried on ESPN.
Storm
Seattle opens women's basketball playoff action Friday, hosting Washington at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
The Storm hosts the second game of the series at 1 p.m. Sunday on ESPN.
Both games take place at the Climate Pledge Arena.
OL Reign
Seattle's next women's soccer match takes place at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26 at Orlando on Fox 13+
Emerald Downs
The Auburn oval opens for horse racing action at 7 p.m. Friday and 2:15 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Rainiers
Tacoma will be home at Cheney Stadium taking on the Albuquerque Isotopes at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 1:35 p.m. Sunday.
The Rainiers visit Salt Lake City at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday.
