The coaltion that has been developing plans to help celebrate the reopening of the West Seattle Bridge has a glass float hunt underway, t-shirts for sale, a so far unspecified set of ideas for the West Seattle Junction (more to be announced on September 13), has now issued a casting call for people to be part of a a short video.
Those who wish to be involved won't be paid or get a credit but the organizers are hoping your love of the community will motivate you to show up at four locations midday on Wednesday, Sept. 14 and show your enthusiasm.
The video will be posted to media websites and across social media.
To take part you must register in advance and then be at one or more of the locations at the appointed times.

Quoting from the announcement:
The whole idea is to celebrate the reopening, attract people back to West Seattle, and help support neighborhoods/businesses that have suffered through 900+ days of the bridge closure.
Please sign up for any and all times that you'd like to participate in the video. We're aiming for at least 50-100 extras at the Alki, Admiral, and Alaska Junction locations, and as many as possible (200+) at the Bridge location.
Here's the schedule, and showing up a bit early is encouraged, because we're on a tight timeline:
11:45 am Alki Beach by the Statue of Liberty
12:45 pm Admiral Theater
1:45 pm Alaska Junction by Easy Street
2:45 pm at the bridge's west entrance.
Event Timing: September 14th, various times around the Peninsula
