A 2016 Chevy Silverado and a boat trailer ended up underwater at the Don Amerni Boat Launch on Wednesday.
In an attempt to get a boat on trailer there was a mishap which sent both the trailer and truck into about 8 to 9 feet of water just off the end of the finger pier.
A regular tow truck was called but it was determined that it would not be powerful enough to pull the truck out of the water. Gary's Westside Towing was called and they showed up with a 50 ton tow truck. A Seattle police department diver was used to hook the winch on to the truck and pull it out. The truck is worth about $30.000 and when pulled out was as you'd expect full of water.
