Information from Seattle Police Department
#2022-325709/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
On 12-06-2022 at 3:47am, officers responded to an armed robbery at a convenience store in the 4300 block of SW Admiral Way SW.
The suspects arrived in a white smaller SUV and parked in the alley to the east. Two suspects entered, one wearing a backpack and armed with a handgun, the other pulled a long gun from his pants. They went behind the counter and demanded the cash drawer be opened.
They also took some thin cigars from behind the counter. The cashier had some difficultly opening the register.
A third suspect then opened the front door and pointed a handgun at the clerk from the door. The suspect with the backpack then took the cash from the register and they all fled to the vehicle.
While responding to the call, an officer observed a vehicle suspiciously park in the alley behind another convenience store at the 3200 block of SW Avalon Way. When he went to contact it, the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed onto the West Seattle bridge from Delridge Way SW. After further investigation, officers determined the vehicle that fled was the one from the first robbery.
It was an SPD stolen that had been taken the previous evening, and the suspects were most likely the same suspects from a convenience store robbery that occurred two days prior on 9200 block of 35 Av SW.
