At 4:24am on Thursday February 9, a female casino employee drove home from work and parked in the 6400 block of 29 Ave SW.

The victim exited her vehicle and walked toward her home when a suspect approached the victim and poked her with a black pistol.

The suspect demanded jewelry, and stole the victim’s purse which contained cash, a cell phone, and other items.

The suspect left on foot and possibly entered a vehicle. The victim wasn’t able to track her phone. K9 and Guardian 1 were requested, but not available.

Officers checked the area for suspect/suspects and for evidence. The SPD Robbery Unit was notified about the incident.
