A day after an appearance at Easy Street Records in West Seattle, Seattle hip hop artist Macklemore announced a FREE show at Neumos on Capitol Hill for March 6.
He said via Instagram that the show will be at 7 p.m. Monday night.
Original Post March 5
Hip Hop artist Macklemore made an appearance at Easy Street Record in the West Seattle Junction on March 5 to sign copies of his new album BEN and greet fans who purchased one of 500 copies of either the vinyl or CD release.
The album is Macklemore's first since 2016 and has 15 tracks.
Fans were obviously very joyful to meet him, upstairs at the shop where he sat near the listening station, as the album played. Dancing, smiling and chatting with him for a few brief moments, fans got the albums and disks signed, shirts signed and took selfies.
Dressed in a leather sport coat, shirt, tie and sweater vest, he looked like a hip college professor and was enjoying the flow of love and appreciation the fans showed for him.
The album is getting numerous 5 star reviews for Macklemore, whose real name is Ben Haggerty.
This event sold out in minutes following the announcement and Easy Street expect to have more copies for sale soon.
