The annual West Seattle Summerfest is back July 14-16 promising fun, food, shopping, music and a lot more.

It is all preceded on "Summerfest Eve" by the West Seattle Artwalk Thursday night when the Junction becomes a sort of pedestrian mall for the load in of all the booths and stages for Summerfest.

The festival proper gets underway Friday at 1 pm. Get ready for delicious food and drink, fantastic vendors, and a stellar line-up of bands. The Kids Zone is better than ever, with a free games area, balloon twisters, and a ticketed array of bouncy inflatables.

SAT: 10am-8pm*

SUN: 10am-5pm (+ Farmers Market 10am-2pm)
