A fundraiser for Katie the manager of Southgate Roller Rink is being held Aug.31 at the venue featuring live music and much more.
The West Seattle / White Center community is rallying to support a beloved community member after a cancer diagnosis.

Katie is the manager at the Southgate roller rink. This same community of White Center locals and especially the White Center queer community rallied together to raise $100K to rebuild the Lumberyard in 2021. Now they are gathering funds for another good cause, ensuring that a loved person in the community has what she needs to face a recent cancer diagnosis.

Let's raise some money to help our good friend and manager Katie! This is a 21+ fundraising event. There will be A RAFFLE featuring donations by local businesses and artists! Music by DJ Josh and a special live music performance by MAN PLUS! The admission is $25 and free skate rental. 100% of the admission will go to Katie and will be matched by Southgate.
Katie has been taking care of everyone else and always puts their needs before herself. She will beat cancer and in the meantime let's raise some money to cover her rent, living expenses, and medical bills!
