Football
Highline and Kennedy Catholic hit the road for state quarterfinal games that start at 7 p.m. Friday.
Highline will be the closest to home, taking on the Enumclaw Hornets at historic Pete's Pool nestled up to the Cascade foothills.
The Lancers journey north to Lake Stevens for a state Class 4A championship game rematch. Lake Stevens won last year's final.
Kennedy Catholic is now coming off a 37-34 win at Curtis while Highline's Pirates were 34-6 winners over W.F. West in a 2A win at home.
Lake Stevens won against Woodinville by a 41-0 score and Enumclaw defeated Othello, 49-12.
Volleyball
Kennedy Catholic opens state 4A tournament play at the Yakima Valley Sundome with an 11:45 a.m. Friday game against Puyallup.
Girls bowling
Highline visits Mount Rainier at CAB South at 3 p.m. Thursday and Tyee will be there hosting Decatur at the same time.
Evergreen, meanwhile, goes to Secoma Lanes to battle Thomas Jefferson.

Seahawks
Seattle visits the Los Angeles Rams for a 1:25 p.m. Sunday game to be televised on Channel 7.
Sounders
Seattle advances to the Western semifinals next, taking on Los Angeles FC at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26.
Kraken
Seattle hosts the New York Islanders for a 7 p.m. Thursday hockey game at the Climate Pledge Arena.
The Kraken visits Vancouver at the same time Saturday before hosting Calgary at the same time Monday.
All three games can be seen on ROOT Sports Northwest.

Seattle visits Everett for a 7:05 p.m. Friday clash.
Silvertips
Everett entertains Prince Albert at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday before hosting Seattle at the same time Friday.

Washington drops in on Oregon State for a 4:30 p.m. Saturday game on Channel 4.
Cougar football
Washington State gets a 7:30 p.m. Friday visit from Colorado on Fox Sports 1.
Husky volleyball
The UW goes to Utah for a 6 p.m. Friday match before visiting Colorado at 11 a.m. Sunday.
Husky men
Washington plays Xavier at 9 p.m. Friday in Las Vegas before taking on St. Mary's there Saturday at a time to be announced.
Cougar men
WSU travels to Uncasville, Conn. to play Mississippi State at 9 a.m. Saturday on ESPN2.
Husky women
Washington hosts Pacific for 7 p.m. Wednesday action and Seattle University at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Cougar women
The Cougars visit Prairie View A&M at 6 p.m. Sunday.
