Criminals were busy on Tuesday Nov. 21 with three separate incidents being reported on the Seattle Police Blotter Significant Incidents report.
#2023-336355/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 12:42pm the victim advertised a high value jacket for sale on social media and agreed to meet a buyer in a park the 9200 blk 29 Ave SW. The suspect met with the victim, tried on the jacket, and then produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim. The suspect fled the scene on foot still in possession of the jacket. The victim called 911 and requested police assistance. Containment was set up and K9, assisted by guardian 1, conducted a track that ended in a busy shopping center. SW Patrol processed the scene.
#2023-336534/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 3:37pm, officers responded to a possible robbery call at the 4000 Block of SW Alaska St. The victim advised he was withdrawing money at the outside Bank ATM machine, when he noticed an unknown male suspect standing behind him.
After withdrawing $100 dollars, the victim turned around noticed the suspect wearing a ski masking covering his face. The suspect started to reach towards his back waistband area. The victim feared that the suspect was going to grab a gun but did not see any weapon. The suspect grabbed the $100 dollars from the victim and fled the scene in a silver sedan. Officers conducted an area search for the suspect but could not locate. The victim suffered no injuries.
#2023-336631/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At approximately 5:29pm, officers responded to a threat of a Seattle Fire Fighter at Sw Avalon Wy/ 35 Av Sw.
SFD advised that they were providing medical attention on the suspect. The suspect then made several threats to kill the fire fighters, while they were attempting to give medical treatment to the suspect. The suspect then fled the scene on foot heading southbound. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No K9 resources were available. No fire fighters were injured. Prior to this incident, the same suspect threatened unknown people inside a King County Metro bus with a box cutter. King County Sheriff was unable to locate any victim on that incident.
