While Winter officially started Dec. 22, it's going to see it's real arrival in the Seattle area this week. The National Weather service has announced a Wind Advisory with gusts up to 45 mph. First heavy rain, then winds on Tuesday with Mountain snow.
Snow arrives in the Seattle area Thursday, continues on Friday accompanied by temperatures in the 20's.

WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 10 PM PST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
* WHERE...Everett and Vicinity, Tacoma Area, Bellevue and Vicinity and Seattle and Vicinity.
* WHEN...From 4 AM to 10 PM PST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
The rain and snow is expected to continue through Sunday. Blizzard conditions in the mountains are expected to leave snow from one to five feet behind.
