Seattle Prep 79, Ballard 72
Ballard came up seven points shy of district with Wednesday's loss to the Panthers in the West Seattle gymnasium.
The Beavers finished with a 17-5 overall record.
Ballard 55, Cleveland 49
Ballard received an opening round bye in the Metro League district qualifying tournament, then launched into it with a win over Cleveland on Tuesday.
But the Beavers needed two wins to reach the Sea-King District tournament and only got the one.
Ingraham 68, Chief Sealth 64
Chief Sealth's stay at the district qualifying tournament ended with Monday's loss at Ingraham.
Rainier Beach 74, West Seattle 48
West Seattle was routed by the Vikings in Monday's game at Rainier Beach.
It was the opening game of the Metro League's championship tournament and the Wildcats are still assured of advancing to Sea-King play starting Saturday.
West Seattle plays for the No. 5 and No. 6 district berths at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Lincoln of Seattle gym, taking on Nathan Hale.

Ballard entered the district qualifying tournament in the second round Tuesday, but took a narrow season ending defeat at home.

The Seahawks coasted to a decisive victory in their district qualifying tournament opener Monday.
The game was played at Chief Sealth.
Seattle Prep 50, West Seattle 42
West Seattle was dealt a defeat as it opened championship tournament play Monday at Seattle Prep.
But the Wildcats will still play for fifth and sixth place in the Metro League in a 5:30 p.m. Thursday home game against Holy Names.
West Seattle enters Sea-King action Saturday.
