West Seattle 53, Holy Names 41
West Seattle clinched the No. 5 seed out of the Metro League with Thursday's win at home.
Now the Wildcats can open the Sea-King District tournament at home.
Metro's No. 7 finisher Eastside Catholic will provide the competition in a loser-out game at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Foster 63, Renton 45
Foster advances to the championship game of the Kingco 2A playoffs following Wednesday's win over the Redhawks.
The Bulldogs play Sammamish for the title at 6:30 p.m. Friday on the Foster floor.
Highline 48, Evergreen 35
Highline stayed alive in the Kingco 2A tournament after ousting the Wolverines of White Center on Wednesday.
Next up for the Pirates is a 3 p.m. Friday clash with Lindbergh at Foster.
Boys basketball
West Seattle 65, Nathan Hale 38
The Wildcats rode Thursday's win in the Lincoln gymnasium to a No. 5 Metro League seed into the Sea-King District tournament.
West Seattle opens with a 7 p.m. Saturday home game against the Metro No. 7 finisher.
The contest against Seattle Prep or Roosevelt will be loser-out.
Evergreen-Highline
Evergreen and Highline will collide in a Kingco 2A playoff at 4:45 p.m. Friday at Foster.
