West Seattle is championship bound in boys basketball after bumping off Rainier Beach by a 57-51 score at Bellevue College.

The Wildcats will ride Thursday's victory into the Sea-King District final Saturday.

Tipoff will be at 6:30 p.m. against either Garfield or Eastside Catholic.

Win or lose, West Seattle is guaranteed a berth into next weekend's state Class 3A regional action.

State play in the Tacoma Dome runs Feb. 28 through March 2 after regionals.
