The King County Sheriff's Office is pleased to announce that our agency is transitioning from traditional in-person auctions to convenient and accessible online auctions through RealAuction.com.

As of March 1, you are now able to visit our website and register with an account. This will allow you to view the list of properties being sold. You can also access the FAQs and become familiar with the new easy-to-use platform provided by RealAuction.com. Live training classes will be held on select dates. Please view the “training dates,” link on the website.

On April 19, you will be able to participate in our auctions from the comfort of your own home or office. The shift to online auctions will offer several benefits such as: convenience, accessibility, expanded reach and efficiency. You will be able to place a “proxy” bid before the auction and even keep track of it in real time. The deposits and payments can be made electronically which will provide a more efficient and timesaving process.

You will be provided with instructions on how to register, bid, and navigate the online system by visiting the website.
