Information from Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association
Earlier this month, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell released the Draft One Seattle Plan — a major update to the city of Seattle's Comprehensive Plan that will shape how the city will grow over the next 20 years, especially housing availability and affordability.
Changes outlined in the plan will impact the entire city, including Delridge and West Seattle. One of the most major changes comes from a new state law — passed by lawmakers last year — that requires Seattle and other cities to allow fourplexes to be built on land that has traditionally been limited to single-family homes.
The plan is nearly halfway through its 60-day public comment period, which includes online and in-person opportunities to provide feedback to the Seattle Office of Planning and Community Development.

The city is hosting an open house on April 3 from 6-7:30pm at Chief Sealth High School for community members to inquire about the plan further.
