The Seattle Police Department will be hosting DEA Drug Take Back Day on April 27th 10:00AM to 2:00PM paired with a Shredathon to aid our communities in properly disposing of unwanted or expired medications and unwanted documents ALL IN ONE PLACE!
They have partnered with Iron Mountain Shredding, who have donated their shredding services to benefit the communities of Seattle. This will be a free event, but they will be accepting canned and dry goods to benefit food banks in each drop-off location’s precinct.
The Seattle Police Department will be hosting three drop-off drive thru locations:
- North Precinct:
- 10049 College Way N, Seattle WA
- Southwest Precinct:
- 2300 SW Webster St, Seattle WA
- Central Seattle Location:
- Seattle University Parking Lot P6 at 1313 E Columbia St, Seattle WA
Shredding Requirements:
o Limit of 3 bags/boxes per vehicle.
o Box size requirements: 10 L x 12 W x 15 H or smaller.
o Plastic Items such as credit cards, notebooks, and compact disks CANNOT be accepted.
o Documents should be free of paper clips and other metal (staples do not need to be removed)
