The last day for the beloved Full Tilt Ice Cream in White Center is May 26. But for the family of Justin Cline whose untimely passing came as a shock to the community and thousands of people who knew or met him, the need for support continues.
There are no firm plans for the last day, and Justin's wife Ann Magyar would prefer it be a lower key event. Shop employees say that a deal for Rat City Tattoo to move into the space is in the works and that the wall mural will stay.
A new West Seattle based clothing company, Emerald City Threads is launching with a charity line that commemorates what Justin and Full Tilt came to mean to the community. They shared the news in a press release.
Emerald City Threads, a new West Seattle-based apparel company, is proud to announce the launch of a Limited Edition Collection dedicated to the memory of Justin Cline, the late founder of Full Tilt Ice Cream. The collection, featuring designs donated by local artist Kristina Tamaria on shirts and hoodies, will donate 100% of profits to support Justin's family.
This exclusive collection not only celebrates Justin's legacy but also aims to demonstrate the power of community in times of need. “I’ve lived in West Seattle for over 6 years,” said Stephanie Blair, Founder of Emerald City Threads, “and I can definitively say that the community support here is unlike any other. Launching this collection is just our way of channeling that incredible local spirit into something meaningful for one of our most beloved neighbors.”
The designs in this collection are vibrant, colorful, and fun, perfectly encapsulating what you'd expect from Full Tilt Ice Cream. Each piece pays homage to the creative and quirky essence of Full Tilt, making them a fitting tribute to Justin Cline's legacy.
