The body of a male shooting victim lay in the road as Police investigated a shooting that took his life and injured another man at the viewpoint on Alki Ave/Harbor Ave SW Saturday morning.

A shooting near the viewpoint at the corner where Harbor Ave SW changes to Alki Ave SW in the early morning hours of Saturday June 22, left one man dead and another injured.
The shooting occured around 3:45am
When police arrived at the scene they found one man shot to death. Another victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.
Mulitple suspects were involved according to Seattle Police.
More than 30 shots were reportedly fired in the incident.
A nearby residence was struck by gunfire, yet nobody was harmed. An additional victim in Renton was located with a GSW and he was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
Officers cordoned off the area until homicide and crime scene investigation detectives arrived and processed the scene.
Detectives with the Homicide Unit are leading this investigation.
