The Duwamish River Community Coalition (DRCC) will host its 18th Annual Duwamish River Festival/Festival del Río Duwamish at Duwamish River People’s Park and Shoreline Habitat (8700 Dallas Ave S, Seattle WA 98108) and surrounding areas in the South Park neighborhood.
When: The FREE festival goes from 12:00pm-5:00pm on Saturday August 3rd, 2024, and will begin with an opening ceremony led by the Duwamish Tribe at 12pm.
Why: The 18th Annual Duwamish River Festival will celebrate 23 years of community coming together, Home for All! As in previous years, the 2024 festival will feature a family-friendly mix of activities, arts, culture, advocacy and entertainment to celebrate a healthy Duwamish River. Come celebrate with community and the Duwamish River!
What: Our Festival brings communities together to celebrate our vibrancy and diversity as well as cleanup, restoration, environmental and climate justice advocacy efforts for the Duwamish River. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy interactive educational booths, food trucks, free food, youth art activities, free air filters, dance, music and hear from special guests. We look forward to a safe, beautiful community event. Free ADA approved shuttles to/from the event will be provided from within Georgetown and South Park.
