The future of Luna Park Cafe, a fixture in the West Seattle dining scene is uncertain, as owner John Bennett has listed the restaurant for sale. Owner John Bennett is retiring.
The price? $250,000.
It has been serving West Seattle for 35 years ever since Bennett purchased the former Pat and Ron's tavern and remodeled it as a classic American diner full of memorabilia virtually everywhere inside. The cafe became famous for its milkshakes, speedy service kitschy decor and good food. Bennett owned Jukebox City and collected jukeboxes and a wide variety of items from metal lunchboxes, to signs, posters, games from the 50's and more.
