People in West Seattle and South Park are invited to participate in the upcoming SW Precinct Crime Prevention Council meeting and a warm clothing drive, organized by the Seattle Police Department's SW Precinct.
SW Precinct Crime Prevention Council Meeting
Date: Thursday, December 5th Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM Location: SW Precinct Community Meeting Room, 2300 SW Webster St.
The quarterly in-person meeting will feature an opportunity for community members to engage with SW Precinct Command Staff, the Crime Prevention Coordinator, and this month's special guest, the City of Seattle Unified Care Team. The meeting agenda includes:

6:30 PM – 6:40 PM: Introductions of City Personnel

6:40 PM – 7:00 PM: Update from SW Precinct Command Staff on crime statistics, major incidents, and precinct priorities for the next quarter

7:00 PM – 7:20 PM: Presentation by the City of Seattle Unified Care Team on their role and how they prioritize encampments throughout the city

7:20 PM – 7:45 PM: Q&A session with the Unified Care Team and SPD

7:45 PM – 7:55 PM: Holiday crime prevention tips

7:55 PM – 8:00 PM: Closing comments and next meeting requests
Warm Clothing Drive
In addition to the meeting, the SW Precinct is hosting a warm clothing drive to support the community during the holiday season. Community members are encouraged to donate new or gently used warm clothing items.
