The Alki Beach Cafe, under what was said to be new ownership as recently as last August, is closed with eviction notices posted in the front window. The notice is from the King County Sheriff stating that it is a criminal trespass to enter the building.

Westside Seattle covered the business transition to Paul Sandoval who took over the management of the business which has been a part of the Alki community for nearly thirty years.

But rumors on social media and some background information shared with WestsideSeattle indicated that the transition was not what it was purported to be, with the former owner retaining control, according to former employees.
