More lights like these will be added to the West Seattle Junction soon. The original lighting was put up in 2022 and has been well recieved by the public.

The West Seattle Junction is about to shine even brighter. The WSJA Board of Directors unanimously approved an expansion of the tree lighting that was originally installed in 2022.
Chris Mackay, Executive Director for the West Seattle Junction Associates explained:
"Phase 1: Trees along Alaska (42nd Ave SW to California) will be the first to glow.
Phase 2: Next, we’ll light up California from Oregon to Genesee, adding even more charm.
Phase 3: And for the grand finale, we’re extending the lights all the way up to Dakota!"
The are partnering with Fleming Holiday Lights, the team behind the original tree lighting on California Ave.✨
