Foster 88, Cleveland 43

Foster easily handled the Eagles in Saturday's Class 2A District 2 tournament opener.

The Bulldogs host Lindbergh at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

 

West Seattle 44, Roosevelt 41

The Wildcats launched out into the Class 3A version of the District 2 tournament by edging the host Roughriders on Saturday.

They play Bellevue in a 7:15 p.m. Tuesday game at Newport.

 

Renton 69, Chief Sealth 68

Chief Sealth was barely beaten by Renton in Class 2A District 2 action this past Saturday.

The Seahawks host White Center neighbor Evergreen  in a 7 p.m. Tuesday loser-out game.

 

Nathan Hale 77, Evergreen 67

Evergreen fell In 2A tournament play Saturday at Nathan Hale and will visit Chief Sealth next.

 

Union 72, Mt. Rainier 66

Mount Rainier saw its season end with Saturday's defeat.

 

Kennedy 68, Bonney Lake 66

Kennedy Catholic survived a loser out game Friday in the District 3/4 Class 4A tournament.

The Lancers visit Kentwood at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

 

West Seattle 64, Blanchet 51

West Seattle waltzed past the Braves in a Metro League district qualifying tournament game Thursday.

 

West Seattle 67, Lakeside 42

West Seattle clinched a district berth with Wednesday's win.

Foster took Wednesday's Kingco League Class 2A championship game.

 

Rogers 77, Kennedy 72

The Rams stole away from the Kennedy Catholic gym with the win Wednesday.

The Rams went down to a Wednesday loss in Puyallup to open the District 3/4 Class 4A tournament.

 

Nathan Hale 75, Chief Sealth 68

Nathan Hale topped the Seahawks Tuesday.

 

Evergreen 62, Cleveland 39

Evergreen easily handled Cleveland in a Monday 2A playoff.

 

Lakeside 56, Ballard 44

Ballard's season ended with Monday's loss.

 

Girls basketball

Mercer Island 56, West Seattle 49

The Wildcats lost to the host Islanders in Saturday's Class 3A District 2 opener, ending their season.

 

Foster 61, Chief Sealth 54

Both teams are still alive after Friday's 2A District 2 game.

Chief Sealth hosts Lindbergh at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Foster visits Sultan at 6 p.m.

 

Kennedy 63, Rogers 55

The Lancers won Thursday's game at Puyallup's South Hill and advance into a 5 p.m. Monday game at Union.
