The Bulldogs claimed the District 2 Class 2A championship with the narrow Saturday afternoon win over Renton in the Cleveland High School gymnasium.

Now they advance to next Saturday's state regional action at a time and location to be announced.  The opponent will be decided at a seeding meeting Sunday.

Garfield 65, West Seattle 55

Garfield took Friday's loser-out District 2 Class 3A tournament contest played at Bellevue Community College.
