Tree lights were being added to trees in the West Seattle Junction in Phase One of an effort to add more light to the neighborhood.

The West Seattle Junction Association (WSJA) shared on Thursday that Phase One of the additional tree lighting is now complete. The new lights add to those first put up via a grant in 2022.
According to WSJA Executive Director Chris Mackay, "Phase Two will happen in Mid-March with the tree lights on California Ave. from Oregon to Genesee Street SW.
Phase Three will happen after Phase Two in late March or early April and will cover the tree trunks on Calfornia Ave. from Genesee to Dakota Street."
