The West Seattle Summerfest in 2025 needs volunteers for several roles. One opportunity is to join the Street team to distribute Summer Fest posters and flyers in June.
There are multiple shifts available for Photographers. On Thursday, July 10th, there is a shift from 5-7 pm. On Friday, July 11th, there is a flexible shift from 1 pm to 10 pm. Saturday, July 12th also has a flexible photography shift from 10 am to 10 pm. While the Sunday, July 13th photographer slot from 10 am to 5 pm is full, it was also an opportunity.
Volunteers are needed to Cover garbage cans with lg. bags on Friday, July 11th from 11 am to noon. Help is also required for Traffic Control Vendor Load In on Friday, July 11th from 6 am to 9 am and Traffic Control Vendor Load Out on Sunday, July 13th from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Several shifts are available for the Info booth Friday & merch sales role on Friday, July 11th from 1:00 to 3:30 pm, 3:30 pm to 6 pm3, and 6 pm to 8 pm3. On Saturday, July 12th, there are Info booth Saturday & merch sales opportunities from 10 am to 1 pm3, 1 pm to 3 pm, 3 pm to 5:30 pm3, and 5:30 pm to 8 pm3. Sunday, July 13th also needs volunteers for Info booth Sunday & merch sales from 10 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm, as well as for Info booth Sunday run and take down from 4 pm to 6:30 pm.
The Inflatables Monitor/Kid Helper -Kids Zone needs many volunteers across the festival weekend. On Friday, July 11th, shifts are from 12:30 pm to 3 pm, 2:30 pm to 5 pm, 4:30 pm to 6 pm, and 5:30 to 8 pm4. Saturday, July 12th has shifts from 9:30 am to 1 pm, 12:30 to 3 pm, 2:30 pm to 5 pm, 4:30 to 7 pm, and 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Sunday, July 13th also has shifts from 9:30 am to 1 pm, 12:30 to 3 pm, and 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
Volunteers are also needed to Set up water stations on Friday, July 11th from 11 am to 1 pm. Shifts for Water Station crew are available on Friday, July 11th from 1:00 to 3:30 pm, 3:30 pm to 6 pm, and for Water station crew and close up from 6 pm to 8 pm. On Saturday, July 12th, there are Water Station crew shifts from 10 am to 1 pm, 1 pm to 3 pm, and 3 pm to 5:30 pm, as well as a Water station crew and close up shift from 5:30 pm to 8 pm. Sunday, July 13th has Water Station crew shifts from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 12:30- 3 pm.
