Police tape blocked off the area on Beach Drive where a truck hit a pole, knocking out power.

The Beach Drive Blog reported that a truck impacted a power pole on Beach Drive SW. and that power for nearly 60 homes was knocked out.

They reported that the incident took place around 2:20 pm and that power is scheduled to be restored sometime this evening.
