UPDATE Highland Park Way westbound is now reopen to traffic.

Highland Park Way westbound is closed off due to a slick substance on the roadway that caused cars to fishtail on June 18.

Seattle Police officers on scene told the West Seattle Herald that the slickness was caused by a truck that spilled fuel. WSDOT have put down fuel absorbent pads to soak the mess up and the roadway should be open within the next couple of hours.
