The newest restaurant in the junction, Irish pub, A Terrible Beauty, has been undergoing a major transformation over the last couple months with huge changes taking place to convert it into "a proper Irish pub." Owners Paddy O'Brien and Jenna Shannon Garvey O'Brien are seeking volunteers on Sunday June 19 to help them clean up the mess of construction and get the facility ready for inspections on Monday.
She shared this message via Facebook:
"Bored? Rainy weather? Able to work up on a ladder or really anything at all? Anyone wanting or willing to help out with a little elbow grease today for the West Seattle A Terrible Beauty, any volunteers would be greatly appreciated today or tomorrow to get this baby up and running! We have a lot to get done just to get the final inspections done Monday."
